6. Halo 4

The long-awaited yield of this Master Chief arrived in 2012 using 343 Industries’s first match, Halo 4. While quite different from previous songs, the score of Halo 4 has been quite good also.

For the very first time, the character of the Master Chief was fully fleshed out to the player. Where Halo 4 fails quite heavily, though, is from the gameplay. Between bad AI enemies and badly designed amounts, the gameplay of Halo 4 effort was mostly a job. Multiplayer wise, the game decided to double down many of Halo: Reach poor design decisions, developing a multiplayer that, simply put, didn’t feel just like Halo.

7. Halo 3

Halo 3 was one of entertainment’s biggest ever releases, being blamed by some analysts for a reduction in box office revenue that occurred shortly after its release. Unfortunately, I really don’t think that Halo 3 deserves all of its fame.

Halo 3 stands since Halo’s best multiplayer, even to this day. Equipped with feedback in Halo 2, Bungie managed to craft one of gambling’s most fulfilling multiplayer adventures ever — along with presenting Forge mode. Despite several wonky netcode, Halo 3 was rightfully heralded as the perfection of the Halo formula.

The issue with Halo 3 is that this doesn’t transfer over to the effort, in either the story or gameplay esteem. The narrative, while hammering, felt quite awkwardly paced and richly written. The entire first half of the game didn’t even include any character development at all, leaving everything to become crammed in later on. In general, it was not able to satisfyingly conclude the trilogy’s narrative.
